Letter to a Son
Father, I know you wish there were
a way of making me see life
through their experienced eyes,
saving me from falling by the wayside.
I know you would like to have your back wider
also to carry my burdens
and relieve me of weights.
Father, I know that sometimes the world is cruel
and live in it can be an arduous task,
but I also know that you would like to build
a world where there was only the best for me
and where the weather is not so short
to learn life
where there were people who could hurt me,
where I could just play live.
I know you like to give me this gift.
Father, I know the sadness you feel
because it can not prevent me from suffering
I get sick, abusing me,
the dangers that haunt me
and that faith in my heart crumble.
I know you carry the scars, caused
by injuries that have hit me in the past,
know of his troubles and upheavals
when something threatens my present time,
know their wishes and anxieties
focused on my future.
Oh, Father, what a wonderful future you want
I live!
I know that, Father
I beg you, listen to me:
If pain I suffered, they would have been more
without his presence,
into stones often I stumble and fall,
I remember it was you who taught me to stand,
to look to the future and I feel fear,
he goes so I turn to faith
you have planted in me.
I thank God for choosing you
to guide my steps.
It was learned that with you
when the journey becomes difficult
He takes us in his arms.
Thanks, Dad
May God for a blessed week.
God bless you!
A hug.
